Reconstructing conversational behavior
At DSPLab we are engaged in research that results in the reconstruction of conversational behavior on the virtual agents we are developing. For the advanced and accurate reconstruction of human movements and the mapping of these movements into virtual space, clothing equipped with IMU sensors is used in practice. The difficulty of this kind of solution is their price and that the clothing can be used by just one player. Therefore, the task would be to develop an alternative solution to existing clothing and to develop/use electronics that will be installed as measuring segments on all crucial parts of any clothes. Electronic circuits can be connected by wire or wireless. The result of the work would be an alternative clothes that will successfully capture the movement of the human body and also display it in the selected environment on a PC.
