Izidor Mlakar,PhD, Matej Rojc,PhD, Darinka Verdonik,PhD and Zdravko Kačič,PhD have win in june a fundamental research project entitled “Fusion of Verbal and Non-Verbal Signals for the Next Generation of Intelligent Communication Interfaces – HUMANIPA” in the ARRS call, for the duration of 3 years. The extremely high marks of the reviewers (13.5 out of 15 points) prove the high quality and relevance of the project, as well as the importance of the proposed content in the field of modern telecommunications and IoT. The approval of the project also confirms the high quality of the work done so far on the artificial intelligence. Given the scope and duration of the project, it is also a very important element in enhancing our research potential, as well as in the pedagogical perspective, as it will also open up opportunities for students to work on interesting projects, as well as graduate and master theses.
