Assistant Simona Majhenič, MA in Translation, Interpreting English and Interpreting German, is scientifically active in the field of verbal and non-verbal communication. As a member of the Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, she has been involved in the projects IQhome and »Slovenščina na dlani«. As part of her doctoral studies, she deals with corpus linguistics, political discourse, and the use of meta-language in simultaneous interpretation. Since 2017, she has been habilitated in the field of translation and interpretation and is an external associate at the Department of Translation Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor.
