Humanoid robots
The quantum leap in the development of electronics, telecommunications, robotics and artificial intelligence already gives us an insight into the possible future. Of all the robots that have already been imagined on the basis of ingenuity and imagination, the so-called humanoid robots have a special role. Humanoid robots, unlike other robots using artificial intelligence, are specially designed for a specific purpose, namely to be as similar as possible to humans, including imitating human behavior and understanding.
Pepper
Pepper can read primary human emotions, such as anger, sadness, or joy, and behave and respond accordingly. No humanoid robot can do this better than Pepper. It was designed by SoftBank Robotics in Paris in order to serve as a humanoid companion that can communicate in a natural and intuitive ways. Pepper knows how to interpret his facial expressions, tone of voice and other non-verbal cues and respond appropriately as you would expect in a human like conversation. It is equipped with many sensors and three multi-directional wheels, so Pepper can quickly switch to action for pleasant interaction and meeting the people on his way. Due to this special ability, Pepper is already used in many areas, where natural interaction with customers is already very important, for example in supermarkets, banks and shops. In addition to audience responses, Pepper also uses dedicated lighting to change the color in his eyes and a tablet he has on his body. It can also remember the faces and wishes of customers and make an order or choice when interacting with the customer.
